Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1961) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Prior to that she was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer on National Public Radio's show and the Radio Factor of Bill O'Reilly. She appears weekly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs this evening. Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She holds an undergraduate degree in Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as the JD degree at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as prosecutor in the US Attorney's office. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." From 1995 until 2001, she served as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has worked as a Fox News analyst since 2001.
