LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful basketball player ever and is often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James holds 4 NBA champions. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic golds. James has the world record of the most number of points scored in the post-season. He is second in all-time score, and the 7th the most assists in his career. It is a NBA record for him to be an NBA All-Star for 18 years. James has played in 10 NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between the years of 2011 and 2018. James was chosen as a part of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player to ever score at least 10,000 points in a career. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School close to his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hypnotized by media. He was in the process of becoming a professional and was the first pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the league's premier players winning an NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to be crowned the champion at Cleveland in 2010 left as a free agent and joined in the Miami Heat. This was made clear as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions taken by a sports free-agent in history.
