Ruth Wilson
Ruth Wilson is a two-time Olivier Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner. She also was the first to make her Broadway debut in Nick Payne's Constellations with Jake Gyllenhaal. Her most well-known character is Alison Lockhart, in Showtime's "The Affair" that she received the Golden Globe Award. Film credits include The Little Stranger, Dark River, I Am the Pretty Thing that lives in the House and Suite FranASSaise. Locke, Saving Mr. Banks, The Lone Ranger and Anna Karenina. at the Donmar Warehouse, she received Olivier Awards as Best Actress as well as Best Supporting actress, respectively, in the film Anna Christie with Jude Law. Wilson was nominated to receive and Olivier Award for Best Actress for Hedda Gabler at the National Theatre. Wilson was nominated with eight Emmy Awards for her role in "Luther," a BBC drama that received critical acclaim. The actress received BAFTA as well as Golden Globe nominations for Best Lead Actress in"Jane Eyre," a BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre." In 2007 she made her London debut with Maxim Gorky's Philistines in the National Theatre. She also played in Ingmar Bergman's Through a Glass Darkly, adapted to the stage by Almeida Theatre.
